Overview

Tempo is operated by Shelfffy Pty Ltd (ABN 26 692 711 041), trading as Use Tempo.

This Privacy Policy explains how Tempo ("Tempo", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our website, product, pilots, and related services. Tempo helps field teams turn visits, photos, notes, account context, routes, and operational rules into AI-assisted workflows.

By using Tempo, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. If your company has a separate written agreement with Tempo, that agreement controls where it conflicts with this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated while using Tempo, and information from systems you choose to connect.

  • Account information: name, email address, company, role, authentication details, workspace membership, and support messages.
  • Workspace and field-team content: visit notes, photos, tasks, routes, account records, pricing or product context, operating rules, approvals, comments, and other content your team adds to Tempo.
  • Field activity data: timestamps, completion status, audit trails, and location data when enabled by your organization or device permissions.
  • Integrations and imports: information from tools your organization connects to Tempo, such as CRM, file storage, messaging, scheduling, reporting, or field execution systems.
  • Usage, device, and log data: pages viewed, features used, browser or device details, IP address, diagnostics, crash data, and security logs.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate Tempo and make the service useful for your field operations.

  • Create and manage accounts, workspaces, permissions, and support requests.
  • Run AI-assisted workflows that summarize visits, review proof, prepare reports, coach reps, repair routes, and stage decisions for review.
  • Maintain audit history, customer context, and operational memory for your organization.
  • Secure the service, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Analyze usage patterns, troubleshoot issues, and improve product quality and reliability.
  • Communicate with you about your account, product updates, pilots, billing, support, and security notices.

AI Processing and Field Content

Tempo uses AI systems and service providers to process field-team content and generate outputs such as summaries, recommendations, tasks, reports, and draft messages. Those outputs are intended to support human review and operational judgment.

Customer field content remains associated with the workspace that provided it. We do not intentionally make customer field content public or use it for advertising. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process content in Tempo.

AI-generated output can be incomplete or incorrect. Tempo is designed to help teams move faster, not to replace human approval for sensitive field, customer, employment, legal, safety, or financial decisions.

Sharing and Service Providers

We share information only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve Tempo.

  • Service providers: cloud infrastructure, storage, authentication, AI processing, analytics, email, messaging, mapping, observability, and customer support providers.
  • Customer-directed sharing: integrations, exports, reports, messages, or automations that your organization enables or asks Tempo to perform.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We require service providers to process information for the purposes we authorize and to protect it using appropriate safeguards.

Communications

We may send account, support, security, billing, product, or service messages by email or other channels you provide. You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications, but we may still send transactional or security notices.

Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Tempo, maintain audit history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and operate secure backups.

Your organization may request deletion or export of workspace data by contacting us. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period, and we may retain records where required by law or legitimate business needs such as security, fraud prevention, or accounting.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These include encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices, monitoring, and vendor review.

No internet service is perfectly secure. You can read more about our approach on the Security page.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and how your organization uses Tempo, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

  • Workspace admins may manage users, permissions, integrations, and organization data.
  • Device permissions for camera, photos, notifications, and location can be managed in your device or browser settings.
  • You can contact Tempo to request help with access, correction, deletion, or portability requests.

International Transfers

Tempo and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live or where your organization is located. We use appropriate safeguards for international processing where required by applicable law.

Children

Tempo is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to Tempo, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
